I am happy to announce my 2020 candidacy for 4th District Alderman for the City of Brookfield.
It has been my privilege and honor to represent the constituents of the 4th district as your Alderman for the last 10 years. As a 36-year resident of the district, I have come to know what is important to the residents, from the residents. Through hundreds of emails, phone calls, and conversations, I have learned and discussed the needs and concerns of our community. As a business owner and executive for the past 45 years, I have been able to use my experience and the importance of fiscal responsibility to fulfill the wishes of the district and to work on many issues with the Committees, Boards, and Common Council. For example:
- Brookfield Conference Center (Visit Brookfield Board member)
- Burning issue (Legislative & Licensing Committee) Ongoing since Spring 2019
- Capital Improvements (Board of Public Works)
- Bee & Chicken Ordinances (Legislative & Licensing Committee)
- Quiet City (Board of Public Works) Ongoing since Fall 2019
- New Stop Sign on Brookfield Rd & Gebhardt (Legislative & Licensing Committee)
- Thoughtful Redevelopment (Common Council)
- Keeping taxes in line while maintaining outstanding services and safety (Common Council)
- Adding school resource officers to high schools (Common Council)
Although just a small listing of some of our accomplishments, keeping the concerns and wishes of residents in mind on every vote has always been my main priority. We need to keep the City of Brookfield’s best interests as well as the 4th District’s interests in mind when making decisions. It is a balancing act that takes time and experience to develop, both of which I’ve worked hard to advance and continue over the years.
I look forward to another four years as your Alderman. Please make sure to vote on April 7th.

An Update for All Voters
All Polling Locations will Consolidate and Vote at the Brookfield Conference Center
Due to the Corona (COVID-19) Virus, most of our poll workers have been replaced by City staff and Volunteers at their request. Therefore to provide better management due to the number of inexperienced workers and insufficient numbers, all polling locations will consolidate at the Brookfield Conference Center – Connect (Large) Ballroom located just south of the Brookfield Square Mall at 325 S. Moorland Rd.
Safe distancing protocols (6 ft) will be in force on Election Day. Each voter will be given a new pen to use during voting and then to keep when they leave the voting area. The facility has restroom facilities for hand washing after voting. If you have gloves and/or mask at home, feel free to wear them to the polls on Election Day as we have not been able to secure a sufficient number of these items as suppliers are reserving their stock for medical and hospital use.
